Oh, now I get it. The "writer" didn't hit the wrong translation button, but chose "Latin" on purpose, believing that is the language they speak in Latin America.

Probably my favourite headline on that site is "Shakira Concentus in Civitatibus Foederatis Moratur Propter Crescentes Postulationes". (And yes, the entire article is in Latin.)
