I am not blaming a reader for a poor poem, but surely a reader who has limited experience and knowledge and who makes inaccurate and uneducated remarks saying a poem is bad for their own lack of understanding certainly would not make a good poem bad.

Thanks for the encouragment. I am not sure what you mean by "my own material" . Often I see poetry as just another way to communicate, a type of conversation. so writing poetry as a response is just a way of talking with someone. Kathy
