After Red Rocks
Sorry for taking so long to post these. I am sort of ashamed of the quality of the photos, they look much better in the original size but still not great. Seeing as this was the first concert I’ve ever photographed they aren’t that bad for snap shot quality. I wish I could have taken my time and don...

Re: RED ROCKS CONCERT
Weather should be nice in the evening unless a front moves in. Check the weather web site closer to the 2nd for a more detailed forecast. The normal rains move out by 5pm if it rains at all. It will get chilly fast once the sun goes down and the benches (two 4X10s) get a lot harder after the first h...

Re: RED ROCKS CONCERT
Thanks Greg for enlighting me on the camera issue. I used to be a pro back in the film days and concerts never were on my list of events to photograph. So now i'm considering leaving the the big glass and Nikons at home and just bring a compact camera and suffer the quality unless somebody else has ...

Re: RED ROCKS CONCERT
Ok! I just got back from Denver and scoped out the Red Rocks Amphitheater while there (much like I remember it from the 70s). I asked a bunch of photographers at the seminar I was attending who live in the Denver area about shooting at concerts in Red Rocks and it was unanimous that cameras were not...

Re: Will cameras be permitted at Red Rocks
Thanks Ladydi for the response. I've been a LC fan since the 60s but never been to one of his live performances. I'm taking my photographer niece from NY so we will both be shooting pics. We will be 3rd row center. See you there! Bring pads to sit on and rain gear just in case. Should be a good show...

Will cameras be permitted at Red Rocks
I'm considering attending the Red Rocks event and would like to know if cameras will be allowed. I wouldn't be using flash. Red Rocks leaves it up to the performers to allow or disallow. Any info on this?
