Thanks again for your civilized opinions. The hardcover is going into a second edition and as such is being reproofed. This is my fifth book and my third biography and I've never known a book to go out with such errors before. One can usually trust the proof readers to do their (and its a full time)...

Thanks for the ...input...but disrespectful? I don't think so. If people are noticing and being bothered by such errors to the point where it's spoiling the overall experience of the book then it's surely constructive to use the resultant energy in a positive way rather than just list complaints on ...

Perhaps - if you felt like it - you could make a note of typo's and proof errors and mail them to me for the sake of future editions. (I'd rather this thread didn't degenerate into a list of corrections). Constructive criticisim. The book was edited and proofed to what I assume is Omnibus' usual pro...

We are in the last throes of picture research for this now.

I am trying to locate as many unique and unfamiliar images as possible - ideally of LC at work.

Can anyone remember which Keyboard LC favours for writing? i remember reading about it...was it a particular casio model that he buys every upgrade of?

Whilst researching my book I interviewed a chap who swears to have seen LC at this venue in the early 70's, late 60's. But I can find no mention of it anywhere. Anyone here shed some light on this? The chap is adamant this was the venue.

I am the author, and I am a 'fan' of both LC the man and his work. I wouldn't be able to write a book on a subject I had no interest in and I couldn't do an Albert Goldman and write about someone I was intruiged by but loathed, either.
