Mary Magdalene Sings the Blues

Mary Magdalene Sings The Blues In the Gospel of John, Mary's encounter with the resurrected Jesus is a deeply personal and transformative moment. Mistaking him for the gardener, she pleads for the whereabouts of Jesus's body, only to be met with the most profound revelation as Jesus calls her by nam...

Re: Another recycled poem

Hi Abby, Iv checked in here and there through the years but have not been consistent. Just turned some poems into music lately and noticed many mentions of Leonard and some quotes in them so felt something that I could share here. My poetry alone is lousy but I feel the music kinda covers up that fa...

Re: The Bully

Congratulations!!! Very interesting and well written Abby. Love your drawing too. From your story I feel you have so much more of your life you could write about if you choose to. Currently sitting bedside my 83 year old father, wondering if this is it. Your story definitely hits home and I am somew...

Re: never-ending gallery

I enjoy AI for my poems I wrote. I use AI to put them to music because I have not talent for playing instruments. Iv tried and know my weaknesses. I don’t have friends that would play them for me either. I enjoy hearing them in music and I’m sure, if only one other person enjoys just one, it’s worth...

Another recycled poem

Hello all, In my quest for unification with the divine I continue to process my stagnated poems through the computer in hopes to bring them alive to bless the masses with a heavy pouring of Leonard Cohen influenced poetry to help them on their way to one’s own ascension into heaven. Sorry about the ...

Happy Holidays Boss. Avalanche Leonard Cohen Well I stepped into an avalanche It covered up my soul When I am not this hunchback that you see I sleep beneath the golden hills You who wish to conquer pain You must learn, learn to serve me well /what makes me well? You strike my side by accident As yo...

Sailors

Sailors May you forever bring back the peace you find riding the easy wind and share with others. Blessed are you who ride these calm waters on a gentle breeze. Begotten are the ones who, shipwrecked on the shore, sail the treacherous seas on the violent gales of life. May you forever share the peac...

Kool-Aid Smiles

Kool-Aid Smiles The police car turned down a dimly lit dead-end street, slowly passing by poverty neglected houses. The drive was dragging on and on as they came to a crawl along a long 15-foot-tall cement wall, painted tan with three strung lines of barbed wire slanting out along the top of it. The...

The Road

The Road
I’m taking the only road I haven’t yet taken.
The only road that is left.
The road only I can take.
The road I can walk in harmony with the company of me.
