Dear Leonard, on your tour...

Post by Boss »

…tell them I am listening to Jon English, an Aussie artist, whilst trying to avert family conflict. And it is a conflict that reverberates around the world. There is suffering everywhere. Even the rich are suffering – but they cannot see how deprived they are. How hungry they are.

…tell them our world is not at peace. To be happy many assume we need possessions or expensive holidays. To be happy almost all of us have to be ‘right’.

…tell them many of us prance about making sweet noises for all to marvel at. I am guilty of that. Each of us has problems.

…tell them that a high percentage of professional people have, for some unknown reason, been fortunate enough to be able to develop their brains into clever machines. Such machines, without heart, are dangerous - more dangerous than the man who has nothing.

…tell them there is no Satan. But, there is evil, there are evil people and the worst of these are invariably big businessmen and politicians; those who control everything.

…tell them your album “The Future” is filled with apocalyptic revelation and theme. Ask them why so few talk of it. Are they embarrassed, scared? Or are they too busy wondering if G-d is a relic of the past? Fuck man, you say the future is, “Murder!”

…tell them I have a dog, a car, a lap top, a bit of music and about $20 in my bank account. I own no house. I have no wife or lover, I have no child. I am on a disability pension. I have 2 friends – both have schizophrenia. My family is wounded.

…tell them I offer up to you all I can. I offer you my ‘word’ that I will try to love, that I will try to change, that I will fight for Humanity in any possible way - in the way you have taught me, through love.

…tell them that if you come to Australia, I doubt I will make a concert. Me, or my immediate family, just don’t have spare money anymore. I think I’d wait outside though, with Buddy.

…tell them, “Thank you and peace”
