Like many others, I was planning on seeing him somewhere in Canada on his tour and now he's coming to my town.
Crazy! :D
But I was wondering How many tickets will Holy Heart in St. john's have (total capacity)?
:?: Also, will there be a limit on the advance number(i.e. two per person)?

I'm excited that Cohen is coming to St. John's, but I'm very weary of how hard it will be to get tickets. Holy Heart Theatre does not seat a lot of people and I'm sure that word of the pre-sale will spread very quickly in this small city. I'm still putting my hopes in getting a ticket for the first show in Toronto. If I can get a ticket in my hometown, great, if not, I won't suffer too much!

In my previous post , I asked about capacity. I just looked at Holy Heart auditorium's webpage and note that seating capacity is only 949 so those seats will be preciuos.

I never dreamed Leonard would come to my hometown of Fredericton. I thought I'd have to go to Moncton or Halifax; here's hoping I can score a pair of tickets. It scares me a little that there's no price on tickets yet, but the Playhouse usually keeps ticket prices fairly reasonable. And who knew there were so many Frederictonians on the forum? I'll (hopefully) see everyone at the show!

Wow wow wow I don't think I can work today !!!!!! No karmic trick unbelievable. This is a good day. I am amazed. I heard from a person that books acts for our Jazz festival to keep my ears open I dared not say anything within a week.

DO NOT order more than the 2 tickets allowed, per show, per person (this means 'household', two different people with the same VISA or two different cards for the same person - 1). If you do your entire order may be cancelled.

What you can do is get 2 at the presale and 1 and the regular sale.
The Toronto pre-sale let me book 4 at once. Are the rules different for that venue?

So happy for the Maritimes--I lived in Halifax for five years--saw a few performances at the Rebecca Cohn auditorium--lovely venue. Also lived in New Brunswick for a year--and I can totally understand why Mr. Cohen would want to begin his tour there. Congrats to you lucky people out east. Enjoy enjoy....

Thank you so much. I thought I missed out on decent tickets in Toronto since I got to my computer late and kept looking for tickets and wow, 2 tickets in row H in the Orchestra. I am SO excited.
How cool is this. An evening with Leonard Cohen.

I see there is another person in Fredericton in the files.
I hope sometone takes him to see Bliss Carmen's house to see his signature in the stairwell. I volunteer to do that, I would not mind

It would be great to have a pre or post concert gathering somewhere. Maybe the Beaverbrook/Crown Plaza after or the Tap Room? If there are other folks coming to Fredericton private message me so we can put something together. We are lucky that he is in Moncton too the Play House is not large.

I went to the link regarding advance booking and for Fredericton it says that the passwords will be given out on the forum at noon on March 18th - but our box office opens at 10am - does this mean the tickets won't be on sale until noon?

Thank-you!!

Oh, small corrections to the post. That's St. John's NL. And for our non-Canadian viewers, I would just point out that the last two venues and St. John's are not in the Maritimes. Strictly speaking, the Maritimes does not include Newfoundland and Labrador, although if you say "Atlantic Canada", NL is included.
OMG OMG - you are indeed right - this is the best news ever!!!!! I was ready to book TO as well and whoo hoo - here is is coming to Halifax - for 2 nightsd no less.... I think I'm going to both shows - I've waited about 25 years so I know one night won't be enough.
OHG - my heart can't take this !!!!!!!
