Cohen in Romania? - waiting for confirmation

If I could alter topics, I'd call this one "I'll be damned" or something along those lines.

Yesterday a pretty well-known newspaper here posted AGAIN the news that Cohen will come here on July 14. After inquiring if this is the same news as last week, I got this answer: "Cohen is going to come on July 14. That's why "Jurnalul National" (the said newspaper-my comment) didn't come out with the news on friday, in order to have official confirmation first. "Jurnalul National" is the producer of the event".
Well, I'll be damned, if they are the producers they should know better, shouldn't they? But then why don't I see the news anywhere else?! You see why I turn into a pessimist living here.

The cancellation of the Bucharest concert has been the most disappointing piece of news I have ever received.
Mr. Cohen , please come to Bucharest, I am dying to see you, we all fans are.

Despite the stren statements here, the Romanian press insists on announcing (broadly!) Cohen's concert in Bucharest, on July 14th.
Here's a link to an article announcing not only the concert, but also the fact that this particular newspaper (Jurnalul National) "brings" him to Bucharest, as part of its 15-year celebrations. Bizarre!

I'll dig into it (newspaper and Events agency sides). But any help with the tour manager's official point of view would be helpful. As a jounalist, I cannot bear false information being spread.

well, an inside source said that negotiations are still under way. No sure date, no place, no price for tickets (meaning no price for the concert itself) have been set yet. I guess we are witnessing a PR stunt - and a twist-of-the arm technique. Let's hope for the best - but keep an eye on other places where we can go

Yes, I believe that the shows that were "cancelled" are still under negotiations and therefore are TBA (to be announced). The only thing that I am sure of is that we will have some information in the forthcoming weeks. So fingers crossed and please, people, be patient!

I just know. Trust me, i wouldn't sell bullshit on this topic. I don't know the location, but i can tell you the ticket price starts from 90 RON up to 400 RON.
