Re: Hamilton, Ontario June 3 presale Mar 18
Searching for tickets again now, 40 minutes after I got mine, there's now closer seats than the ones I bought. What the hell..? What kind of seating algorythm is in place, there? Ten minutes ago, it was three rows behind me... So, for that first half-hour after the initial rush, not all that many tickets went.
Seeing as how I got through as fast as possible, and given that everyone else is either a click ahead of me or a click behind, there must be huge blocks set aside, for me to get seats in the 16th row. Mind you, it doesn't help that Ticketmaster is letting people buy as many as 50 tickets in one shot, so perhaps it's perfectly obvious where those tickets went.
(And why should Ticketmaster care about preventing scalpers? They're in the business of selling tickets, and that's exactly what they're doing. Selling one block of fifty is a lot less work than twenty-five blocks of two...)
Anyway. I'll get to see Leonard play down the street from my house, and that's the main thing. I don't even have to take the car, just stroll on down... Sweet.

I'm on King Street west myself so the walk there would be nice. I am just so upset about my seats.. C.. and when I give my credit card info it says row P. I only confirmed when I saw row C.
What a rip-off.
And now when I search I keep finding much better seats. I'm considering buying them and maybe putting my crap row P tickets for sale when the event sells out.

Now there don't seem to be any tickets, if you do the search for "best available" and "any price". What the heck is going on?

I guess the presale was for an hour only? I'm going to try again tomorrow. Oh good god.. if tomorrow is a plethora of amazing seats I'm going to be so angry about this "presale" business.

I know how Ticketmaster works. They're very weird.stpararenex wrote:I guess the presale was for an hour only? I'm going to try again tomorrow. Oh good god.. if tomorrow is a plethora of amazing seats I'm going to be so angry about this "presale" business.
They block of certain seats for both Pre-sales and General Onsale. I can assure you there will be amazing seats tomorrow morning but..they will go FAST, I'm talking less than 3 seconds fast. I got luck for Anne Murray at Hamilton and got PIT1 Row CC...I hope I can do the same for Leonard lol

I think as long as its orchestra seats, it should be ok. I don't like the balcony seating. Oh row C orchestra.. how I long for you.

Here's another tip: Don't refresh more than 5-7 times right away or Ticketmaster will block you for 5 minutes!
Don't search for tickets too many times within a short period or Ticketmaster will block you for 24 hours!

For an OFFICIAL clock that Ticketmaster should run by go to this website: http://www.time.gov
Sometimes, the best tickets are available a few minutes in, this is when the people holding all the good seats release them due to either them not wanting them or an internet failure etc.
So don't give up, but don't try too much!
Good luck everyone!
