can anyone tell me whether there are ample litter bins at the O2 and also between there and Greenwich station. I am really obsessive about people dropping litter and have held back from booking tickets for the Leonard Cohen on Ice Show at the O2 until I am certain there are adequate litter receptacles and a strong litter clearance programme.

I had front row seats for Dylan recently but left in the first half hour when I noticed some adult (yes, adult!) discard a tissue on the floor rather than keep it for proper disposal later. I know that was an extreme anti-social loutish incident but I can't bear to spend over £10 for tickets to see Cohen for my evening to be totally ruined by this sort of hooliganism.

I have posted this without an indication of the particular venue I am considering visiting because I am quite prepared to travel afar if I can be assured of a clean, eco-friendly, orderly location elsewhere. Please reply with details of any concert venue where you can personally guarantee an appropriate standard of hygiene. Also indicate whether you are able to provide me with a lift from the nearest station, and accomodation details etc

Thank you

Sue

Sue: it's great you're so enviromental conscious. As for myself, I'm trying to be as ecological as possible as well.
If I were you and had a possibility to travel, my best goal would be any concert in any of the Scandinavian countries. Personally I know Aarhus /Denmark/ pretty well as I studied there and I still find it very clean. And of course avoid Spain, although it's the country I love I must admit there's plenty of garbage everywhere here!
I hope anywhere you go you'll enjoy the LC concert.
Take good care, m.
