Dublin (June 13-15)

Post by amcgee »

Hi

I know i will find out when i go on Saturday, i have heard from a few people that approx 45000 people will see him over the 3 days, is this correct or is it 4 to 5000 people more like. I thought it was going to be a intimate show, 14000 for me is too big.
looking forward to seeing the legend and no doubt it will be the biggest concert in Dublin this year

When it was first announced it was as 12000 seater venue - it seems they may have found some space for some more seats!
The organisers claim of an intimate outdoor venue never matched anyone's definition of intimate. Having said that - I think it will be a superb night if the weather holds. (Mind you I'm also going to Manchester which will be intimate)

Paula,
I think most things are more expensive in Ireland, especially with the exchange rate of the Pound and the Euro :(
See you soon,

It's finally here. I ahve been waiting 20 years to see this legend live in concert. I can't wait. The RKH should be a great venuw. outdoor courtyard. I can see it like an Italian Piazza all lit up and enchanting. I am going on Sunday night. It will be so memorable.
