Belgium

Post by James T »

Hey, so I saw and met Leonard in Manchester and it was outstanding! Just wondering if anyone here knows if I can get a train back from Bruge to Brussels after the Cohen concert in a couple of weeks? I cannot find the train times but I fly back from Brussels early yhte next morning so cannot stay over in Brugge, is the last train late enough for me to see the whole gig?

Also if anyone has any tickets spare for the Brugge gig that would be good, is it standing or what? The sites are confusing.

James, you can check most European train schedules on the Deutsche Bahn site, in English if you select English from the drop down menu on the right.

Seems easier if you go to the site of the belgian railways http://www.nmbs.be . There is a English version.
But I doubt if there will be "that late" a train to brussels. Trains tend to stop early in Belgium... if there's no strike of course...

The concert is standing.

I know that the concert is standing, but do they mind you bringing in chairs etc. for before the event? if it is a nice evening, not likely looking at the forecasts  but it would be nice to go in at 1700 when the gates open and have a leisurely picnic before the event starts.
Any Cactus regulars out there can assist me?
