A Thousand Kisses

Trumpeter Chris Botti has titled his new album A Thousand Kisses Deep, and covers that song in the album. On his website, http://www.chrisbotti.com. you can hear a 30 second clip from this and other tracks.

The site also includes these comments about the song.

“A Thousand Kisses Deep” (Leonard Cohen/ Sharon Robinson)
The album's title song was originally recorded by Leonard Cohen on Ten New Songs (2001). Chris recorded Cohen's "Hallelujah" for the Christmas album December.
"When Leonard recorded his version of this song, it had no bridge. So he and Sharon wrote a new part for me to play in the song, and of course I was thrilled. Except for one guitar overdub, this track was done all live in one take—even Keefus’ (Moog Synthesizer) parts, which we’d never heard until he started playing!"

Thanks, Biggie!
Doesn't it just give you a chill, the far-reaching,
elemental, effects of Leonard and his work! And
he, always ready to do the generous thing... That's
Our Man!
