Why did Manchester feel like it was chosen ....

... as the start and end last two tours? It is both flattering and convenient for those of us in The North West of England but a tad odd in global terms. Just wondered if there is a logic to it.

Well, the first leg of the tour did not begin in Manchester but in Canada in May, with numerous concerts in several cities, before coming over to Europe! Also, the fall leg was supposed to end in Dublin, but those concerts had to be removed from the schedule because the renovation of the O2 Point is delayed.

Ah well, Ireland's loss is (Northern) England's gain. Better make sure that we give him a good send off.
