So what's it like?

Post by KaimiK »

I'm sorry if I'm posting too many questions. I'm beyond ecstatic at the possibility of seeing LC live - I dreamt about it, but never thought it would happen.

I'm just wondering what it's like to see him in concert? What kind of people go - young, old, everyone? Mellow? Friendly? I'll be going by myself to the show in Seattle (pending getting a ticket on Wednesday of course) and am just curious what to expect. Most of my LC listening has been solo - either in my single days or now after the little one's bedtime. It's a bit hard to imagine what it will be like to share the experience with others.

Thanks everyone...
You let me sing, you lifted me up, you gave my soul a beam to travel on. You folded your distance back into my heart.

Try reading the stuff under the February 19 New York Beacon Theatre thread...there is a lot posted there...

there are also a lot of reviews and links to youtube posted there...

in one word I'd say, very emotional!

I'm going to post a blog about it soon, when I do, I'll let you know...it was so nice to meet other people on this forum, they were very nice and a lot of fun and sweet as can be...

I went by myself to the New York show...I actually go by myself to a lot of shows...hopefully you will be able to attend a post party if possible! It was a lot of fun. Sad at the end though. It's such a touching experience. So heart-felt. Absolutely beautiful.

I have seen him 4 times. And it's always transcendant.

Musically, very sophisticated, yet simple and elegant. I would (and will) drive far and pay a lot to do it again.
