L.C.'s Concert G.M.Place,Vancouver

I was looking forward to seeing Cohen for the 1st.time here in Vancouver,but was totally dissapointed in the choice of Venues.G.M. Place way too big for his type of Music and Stage Persona.I won't be attending...seems like a Cash Grab to me.

I also think GM Place is a gross choice, and at the prices asked I certainly won't be attending. Sadly, I think we are to some extent victims of the enormous success of the tour so far -- if you can sell out GM Place, why settle for the Vogue or the Orpheum or even the Pacific Colosseum? It is a bit annoying to see that in many cities along the way he is playing theatres rather than arenas, though.

Oh well, at least we'll have the Live in London DVD -- and at GM Place we wouldn't be seeing much except the giant screen images anyway... All rather different from seeing him in Sheffield 33 years ago.
