Got 2 on Radio City presale... then went back in and got 2 more. I know they said 2-ticket limit but when I logged in there was a choice of up to 4... or was it more? So I thought it would be Ok to try and I got lucky--I thought. Now I am wondering: if I go to Will Call to pick up, will they deny me? If 2 different people present the orders will they still object? I'm a fool, should have put them on 2 credit cards but I was nervous and crazed....
OK, if I have to turn one set back, how do I do so???
Have tickets--am I in trouble?
Re: Have tickets--am I in trouble?
If it was Ticketmaster, they will let you cancel an order. Call their customer service number and be really nice. It's not their official policy, but they will do it.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Re: Have tickets--am I in trouble?
i did the exact same thing and wound up cancelling my 2nd order (for a solo seat that was too juicy to pass up).
call ticketmaster customer service and cancel one of the orders because otherwise they MIGHT wind up auto-cancelling one or BOTH of your orders automatically at some point, according to the rep. i didn't want to risk any possibility of that happening so i had her cancel my solo seat, which was back up for sale pretty much instantaneously.
she said it was a good thing i called and notified them early, because otherwise a (what i assume to be automated) cancellation system might have kicked in. she was cool about it though, and said all service charges etc. for the cancelled order would be refunded as well. i guess you could try and chance keeping the tickets if you're really daring! i wouldn't, though, definitely not when it comes to something like this.
according to their policy, it varies as to whether limits are based on credit cards, households or names, depending on the venue or the event.
if you already have 2 other people who want to go, you could try timing your customer service call with them logging in and re-purchasing the tickets using a different CC i suppose! i don't know, though. again, i'd rather just play it safe instead of get up to any chicanery and wind up inadvertently violating the ticket limit.
and yes, there is the greed issue to consider. although i'm assuming you weren't out to simply make a quick buck. for me, i was more hedging my bets on whether i wanted to enjoy such a rapturous, once-in-a-lifetime experience alone, which would be somehow fitting, or with a friend who most likely won't know a thing about LC, sadly, other than as "the dude who wrote Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah."

Re: Have tickets--am I in trouble?
Thanks for the advice... I am going to call and throw myself on mercy of Ticketmaster (like they have any)
That means 2 tix will magically appear in the presale pool tomorrow... I hope whoever pounces on them enjoys them--they are pretty good seats. For me it means my wife can go but not my son--unless I get lucky on Monday and find a seat for him in the regular sale. So far, out of 4 sales and presales this was the only one that worked for me.

When I canceled my TM order, the tickets instantly were available again on the website. Could you set up a second TM account in your spouse's name, with a different credit card number and email address? I don't know if they'd cancel multiple orders associated with the same physical address, might be worth calling them ahead of time. Then you could buy the tix just as you're cancelling on the phone?zugerd wrote:Thanks for the advice... I am going to call and throw myself on mercy of Ticketmaster (like they have any)

Also, I don't think it's greedy for you to want your son to go with you!

Re: Have tickets--am I in trouble?
Update in case this happens to others:
I called TM who were very efficient. They said my 2d order was already flagged to be deleted, and once it was, I would get a refund and the tickets would be back in the presale pool. So if you see 2 second-mezzanine tickets pop up, that's them. In future, if people order over the limit as I did, any order after 2 tix will be flagged and eventually deleted. BUT THEY ASSURED ME THE FIRST ORDER WOULD STAND. So no worries there.
And nothing prevents me from trying for another in the regular sale on Monday !
