Hi Donald ~

I especially appreciate your review of Sharon's new album. One of the most frustrating thing for me in reading reviews of Leonard's current tour is that Sharon is given mention within a single sentence, if not one shared with the Webb Sisters. There is SO much to Sharon and her incredible voice and skills that I always want to ask, "Can't you please just continue talking about her... please??" I love your review. Will comment on it later on your blog.

Thanks so much for the kind words, Lizzy.

When I attended the Beacon concert (my first and only LC show as of now), I was really blown away by Ms. Robinson, especially when she sang "Boogie Street." I had the pleasure of interviewing her a few weeks after that night (that's on my blog as well), and I said as much to her. I also told her that, usually when the star of the show cedes the spotlight to a "background" singer, that's usually when the audience hits the lobby for drinks or whatnot. When she sang, though, no one seemed to breathe, let alone leave; she was mesmerizing.

Donald, I was at the Beacon concert too, and the reason I wasn't breathing when Sharon sang Boogie Street, was because she completely took my breath away. I share Lizzie's sentiments, and also thank you for your wonderful review.
My best,
Eve

I was at the Beacon as well....and got to speak to Sharon at the "early entrance". She was standing alone in the lobby (no entourage!) when my friend and I made contact....she was so humble when I complimented her about her CD . We were seamlessly welcomed into her space, and she was so easy to talk to. And there was never a ounce of being a celebrity, just "one of us"

Class act! And an unbelieveable singer as well!!!
