Hmm, I should have held out. Mine are in Section 5 (FF 506-507). Would have much preferred Section 4, of course, but I just jumped on the first thing that came up.

And ladydi... how would you sell them? I mean, since they're will-call...? I don't want to sell mine (unless I can get a better seat), but if I can't find a date I'd like to take, I might want to sell one of them. Just outside the venue before the show??

And yes, THANK YOU, Jarkko, et al.

Well, 10 am came and went and I sat on my hands...logged onto the forum but didn't even go to Ticketmaster... it was hard but I'm kind of proud of myself! It's done and it's for the best, financially and otherwise. Such a gamble though (haha-gamble-Vegas) because it puts all the pressure on getting good seats to San Jose. But I'll worry about that later. and there is always the public sale to Vegas soon (No, *smacking own hands*, no!)

That said, "whatever happens in Vegas" better NOT "stay in Vegas" because I want to read every detail right here! And YouTube from every song, please. (albertnoonan are you going??)

And ladies.... I am counting on you to give him a BIG Vegas welcome, especially during I'm Your Man and Closing Time. Bring on the polka dotted *garments*!!

hey marsha, mary, mary, diana, and leslie!

how weird is this. we're all in a clump!! i bought two tickets this morning, one for me and one for marsha, and hers is row jj seat 403, RIGHT IN FRONT of you, mollydog, and i'm two rows in front of marsha in hh seat 401 (in the same row with diana, maryb, and mutti!)!! how strange is that? all of us in a little bunch. how weird. can't wait to see you all! we'll have a blast.

but then again, i thought we forum people would getter much closer seats! what's up with that? i too will try to see if there are any better seats in the public sale and we also all know how often the front row seats get released right before the shows, as well. and that we shouldn't have any trouble selling these tickets we've got since it's the second to last show of the tour. hummmmm.

enough excitement, anxiety for one day,
bonnie

After losing the TicketMaster battle a few times before, I'm thrilled to have gotten row GG, seats 505-506. I'm looking forward to seeing those of you who I haven't seen since the Beacon Theater and Toronto.

Hi all...so many to respond to!

Grannypoe...I see you haven't posted much but welcome to the crazy Las Vegas women :D :D We all seem to be clustered in a group. Okay...did AEG somehow "remember" our names and thought "yikes...we don't want these gals in the first couple of rows...we've seen them in action before!". Heh-heh...there is still the public sale...

Leslie, Bonnie and Marsha (yea Marsha!), it is so wonderful that we all seem to be somewhat in the same area. I somehow think our Leonard and all the wonderful musicians on stage will be VERY aware of our little cluster! :D :D ;-) ;-)

You know, perhaps we ought not to try the public sale as we are pretty much all together....along with Mollydog from Ottawa and Purpleprincess from England (she is Jayne..and is sitting next to Mary and me). We could perhaps storm the stage enmasse at the end, showering roses on Leonard...or ripping off polka dot blouses!

San Jose will be different. Remember..."what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"... 8)

I am SO SO happy tonight!

Hi Granny,

Sometimes we just have to let the guys go....especially if they don't have that same feeling/obsession! Just noticed your signature...do you live in Las Vegas? I was there for 8 years...many years ago, but a fun time...still a lot of the old Vegas existed, which is unfortunately gone now and the people who lived it are gone too.

Looking forward to meeting you!

All the best,
Diana

ps..it's getting late here in the east...I will pm you tomorrow...interested in talking with you.

I like that..what stays in vegas stays in vegas or whatever it was...Yes maybe its best we keep the seats and isn't it amazing we are all in the same huddle together...I may have my husband come to San Jose only so we can all totally go for it..
lets come up with a plan....
anyways it will be great to meet all of you
and see you again Diana and Mary...I do think these seats were meant to be as it the energy emanating out of that little area will be sublime! spectacular! divine! actually the whole show will be wonderful..

Leslie,

I will always remember the review from (I think) the Denver Post. "There was a standing ovation after every song!" That's because ALL of us in Row 2, which later became Row 1, jumped up after every song...and I think people back further thought "oh, oh, we'd better stand up too!". :D :D

ok to clarify
I meant what happens in vegas stays in vegas
and when I said it will be a wonderful show I meant for all of us not just those in this huddle seating arrangement
that Ticketmaster put us in together...I just have the feeling the venue is more cosy somehow...
and I am all for standing ovations....He and they deserve it.

Hi Victoria,

If one did want to sell their original ticket(s), Jarkko will be starting a thread to "Buy,Sell Concert Tickets". You can check out how it looks by going into either the European Summer Tour which is going on now, or one of the previous tours. The section is at the top of the page. Since the ticket(s) are will-call, you would have to pick them up yourself prior to the concert and then meet up with whoever agreed to buy the tickets. It entails a level of trust on each individual....first that you would show up for whoever is desperately seeking the tickets....and secondly that they show up after you now have tickets in hand. Fortunately between Forum members there seems to be no problem as I think we are all relatively honest and above board. The problem arises when you buy a couple of better seats and then can't unload the originals. THAT'S when it gets expensive! One has to weigh those possibilities.

Good luck,
Diana

Hi Forum members,

I am in Row HH section 4, seats 416-417, and hope to meet you and other members of the forum. Cool, the same row as others who I read on the Forum! My friend and I are coming in from Portland. We were fortunate to see Leonard in Seattle on this tour- would have loved to be in Europe, had to work etc.
I am happy to be at 2 concerts this time, so memorable after being a Leonard fan since 5th grade in the 70's!
