To those who didn't get the tickets they wanted for San Jose, don't forget about the AEG/RADIO presale. It starts tomorrow.

I was able to get better seats in that presale than the fan presale in Atlanta. Clearly, they have different inventory so it's like a brand new fresh start for all your agony and stress.

Anyway, don't give up and good luck to all.

rel123,

Thank you for this information. Better seats were not released in Columbus the following day, but with your info, it's something to look forward too - hopefully. Welcome to the forum!

Best regards,
Mary

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. There has been a wealth of great ticket info put up here. I have been going to shows for a long time and know a lot about this stuff like a lot of members here.

I should also join the chorus of those saying how smooth and easy the process has been for this presale. Really well handled. I thought the idea of releasing the password at the same time as the onsale would be rough, but the scalpers don't seem to be on here as much as I thought. And it just plain worked beautifully.

As a ridiculous music lover, I know how much this means to everyone. It might be of help to aid those who don't know how or where to get the AEG/RADIO password. I received it by email because I buy so many tickets and it came from one of the venues.

If anyone knows how this password will be released for other venues it might help those here.

Again, good luck to everyone. My heart races and my hands get sweaty too when I am going through this.

I have looked and looked everywhere I could think of on the Internet. If someone out there has any ideas, could you please, please point me in the right direction for the SJ presale tomorrow. I have run out of search options. I know I am not worthy after letting perfectly good seats slip through my fingers   , but hopefully some kind soul here will take pity on me and be able to aid me in my search. Thank you!

Diana,
There was a thread on the US Fall Tour 2009 for Ticket Contest Giveaway in Columbus that sturgess had posted with a link to someone's blog. It provided the presale password for the AEG sale in Columbus. I'm hoping beyond hope that someone has this kind of lead for SJ. Just maybe......

First! Things! First!
Thank you Jarkko, Mr. Kory, and AEG, and Leonard SOOOOOOOOO much!
That's an ALMOST quote I want to second! However, I had to put Kory after Jarkko, since I've actually met him and not AEG ;-) . Without you, NONE of this would have been possible!

MARY! I can't believe you're still sitting without a ticket  ! Perhaps, it's as Diana has said... hopefully! But I got a little lost there about what you guys exactly meant. You said you passed up a Row 1 seat because of the section. DRAT!! No. DAMN!! That's why I was sooooo afraid of searching any more than once... just be happy with wherever I'm at! And I AM!! I'd prefer being closer in Tampa, like in the first row, but oh well... the third will be just as wonderful. I couldn't BEAR the waiting until the end, and just HOPING for great seats. I had to get this done and put myself out of my misery as quickly as possible! And, yes, you ARE WORTHY 8) !!! You just had more operating courage than I did. It's worked for you in the past and for something so important and time-limited, I was just afraid to chance it! I pray it will still work out fine for you!

And DIANA, you got yours!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY :D :D :D :D :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the so sweet Other Mary will be near you! Congratulations, Mary :D :D :D :D :D !!!!!

Ohhh, thanks, Sheila... and I WANT to be in San Jose... I'll be missing me there, too! But no dollaros enough to pull me through. It was horrendous enough just buying both the tickets at the same time! Much less adding on lodging and transportation not too long from now 8) !! That's just wonderful that your friends... so very nice friends... will be going with you! Your SEATS are EXCELLENT :D :D :D !!! Congratulations!!!

da2008 ~ Goll darn! I sure hope things work out for YOU! How frustrating to keep getting the same ones!! I'm praying for a Sunny Monday for you :D !!! I don't know how you're going to sleep over the weekend! Are they closed on Friday and Saturday, Sunday  ???

Sturgess ~ I DARE NOT check back to see if I could've done better. I couldn't bear the pain.

You'll be going to the places that I'm not, Jarkko... dang it! But, your choices are the BEST!!

I called the venues, too, ahead of time... and kept at it until one finally checked with the head of the facility; and the other one, finally hunted down an OLD seating chart, to give me an idea on the seat locations. Now, I hope they gave me the correct info  .

Happy, Happy Day, Mnkyface!!! Congratulations!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Annaraven! What a fantastic gift for you! WONDERFUL seats!

MUTTI    ~ You MUST get yours!!!!!

Okay... I am EXCLAIMED out and I haven't done a thing I needed here since I got home and came straightaway to the computer! So, it's already past my new-and-improved bedtime [feeling so much more rested in the mornings], so I need to get off here!

Happy Day everyone who got tickets ~ and a Better Tomorrow for those who haven't!

Love,
Lizzy

Thank you Lizzy, but no I am not worthy. Because of my greed, I screwed up and I know it. Will probably have to wait til Monday to see what the public sales brings. I hope everyone learned a lesson because of what I did and knows not to keep searching too long. I still am mightily happy for everyone who got those great seats. So many good people.....

Here is the link to that blog -

It looks like the presale for AEG was August 1st.

BUT - I found (under "Cool Stuff") a contest for a give-away of tickets for the Fox Theater in Atlanta -

I don't know how I came upon this site - something I clicked I think - WiseGuys Presale Password - but I just joined for e-mail notification (did NOT download their toolbar  ) and they sent me an e-mail to confirm. The site supposedly has info about presales for all kinds of concerts- including saying that they have presale info from here at the forum!

But it has info about the AEG Radio presale -
AEG / Radio / Venue Presale
Start: Fri, 08/07/09 10:00 AM PDT
End: Sun, 08/09/09 05:00 PM PDT

Not sure if this link will work for me only (because I just joined) but here it is -
http://www.tmpresale.com/

A trickster site? I don't see the "PASSWORD" - I do see where you can click to share this information with the whole wide world - like with Twitter and FaceBook. Maybe someone else can figure this out - I'm heading for bed.

Mary B I am curious if you ever bought tickets today to San Jose. I also had a lot of problems I haven't encountered before.
First I want to thank Jarkko for smooth transition at exactly 10 am of the password...thank you so much and really look forward to meeting you in Las Vegas and San Jose..wish I could say Barcelona but thats not happening for me though I will be there in spirit.
I too found those same good seats in Section 1 row 1 or 2 (I think its the seats Diana got) but twice I put them back hoping for something in Section 2...never once from 10-11:20 did I see anything...I guess that is for other sales or VIP...
The thing that I got caught up on was for 40 minutes they kept showing the same seats over and over..no matter what I did..
I let my greed for better seats get away from me..have to watch that and my first would have been perfect..
I did end up with some good seats though I could not get into Section 1 at all...
So I have 2 seats in Floor 3 Row 3 in the middle..
Thank you Jarkko and everyone else involved in this forum and getting us this privilege of Pre-Sales seats..
In reality with perspective these are fabulous seats...just great...
