Amazing seats for Atlanta available now on Ticketmaster
Amazing seats for Atlanta available now on Ticketmaster
Just checked Ticketmaster and if you search for the best seats, it brings up 3rd row center in the PIT (ROW CCC). These seats were only available in the Diamond Package but now can be had at half the price ($250ish) with better seats than anyone was able to get in the pre-sale as far as I know. There are literally only about ten to twenty seats in the theatre better than these.
Unfortunately, I have bought all I can as soon as tickets went on sale thanks to this forum. But for those who haven't bought their seats to Atlanta, act now. This won't last long.

rel123,
Thank you for the alert. Because of it, I checked Columbus, same situation here. Dang, these things popping up are soooooo enticing.
Best regards,
Mary

Re: Amazing seats for Atlanta available now on Ticketmaster
Thanks Mary. I'm glad someone cares. Unfortunately, this turn in ticket sales along with the Tampa news (reorganized layout) seems to indicate weak sales along this last leg of the tour.
I thought there would be a sell-out at least in Atlanta and things seem far from that now. Really! Giving a deal on third row seats at this stage of things? I have never seen it in over twenty years of going to concerts. I remember a Tom Petty show where they made it half house. Then had two for one tickets. But never third row seats at a reduced price.
And yet no one seems to be buying.
The good news is that maybe Leonard won't make quite enough to retire and will have to venture out one more time.
Regards

Believe me, if I were anywhere near Atlanta, I'd snap up one of those tickets so fast! Things are tough for a lot of people in the U.S., money-wise, so maybe that explains some of the poor ticket sales? Whatever the case, it's a shame that the shows aren't sell-outs.

And this probably explains why the seats for Columbus for $47 and $76 are sold out.LisaLCFan wrote:Believe me, if I were anywhere near Atlanta, I'd snap up one of those tickets so fast! Re: Amazing seats for Atlanta available now on Ticketmaster
I hear what everyone is saying about the cost, and if you can't swing it, you just can't. But I can tell you I once skipped seeing Johnny Cash around 1994 or so. He was playing a small club in town and the tickets were $40. I just couldn't get myself to pay it.
Now I regret it of course. In hindsight, I would have done anything to go. I bought a lot of stupid cds that year. I ate out too much. I could have done it. I thought I was saving money but I lost an experience that would have lasted a long, long time.
From all accounts, something special is going on with this tour. There may be another tour and there may not, but this may be your shot. The last time Leonard Cohen came to Atlanta, he was playing a small club after The Future came out. The paper had a small write up about it that warned that you shouldn't dare miss it.
I did, and I regret that too.
I am just beyond thrilled that I get a second chance this time thanks to some sleazy accounting and loose morals. Those who love music/poetry/words won't worry about the cost. It's worth it if only to avoid the regret that you will inevitably feel down the road. Think about it. Then go buy your third row seats. I'll be a row or two behind you loving every minute of it and never looking back.

Re: Amazing seats for Atlanta available now on Ticketmaster
I agree with you, rel123, seeing Leonard in this wonderful concert is absolutely worth doing whatever it takes to get a ticket, so I won't try to make any more excuses for those who won't make the effort! I personally would not let the cost deter me, especially if the only cost is the ticket for the show. I'm flying down to Las Vegas in November to see The Man again, against all rational sense of fiscal responsibility. Can I afford it? Not really. But can I afford not to? Absolutely not. Life is too short to pass up on opportunities like this, espcially if nothing but regret would follow. Live for the day!

It took my husband 30+ years of repeating his favorite mantra of 'Life's too short.......' for me to finally get it. I think so many of us who do whatever it takes to attend these concerts, do so also with a modicum of guilt as you said, 'against all rational sense of fiscal responsibility'. We should be saving for our retirement, putting money in the bank, etc... But, who knows what tomorrow will bring? We are not getting any younger and so potential health issues loom - we may not be able to travel tomorrow. These concerts are so worth every single penny! I wish I could go to all of them, but I guess I still retain a little bit of fiscal responsibility

Kindest regards,
Mary

Right on, Mary! Better late than never to adopt that attitude. I look forward to meeting you in Las Vegas!

Re: Amazing seats for Atlanta available now on Ticketmaster
I've got front row center (behind the pit seats) so am quite happy with them. ATL should sell-out; again a Tuesday night concert, just saw U2 at the Dome and there was big debate if sold-out or not believe it was)- anyways looking forward to a great show.
Re: Amazing seats for Atlanta available now on Ticketmaster
Let me sound the alarm one last time. This one breaks my heart but it should make someone's year.
Right now they have Front Row Pit AAA Center seats available. Perhaps the two best seats in the Fox. Front Row!!!!
Please someone from here go get them.
