... but your good wishes still mean so much ! And I've taken on the physical aspect of your screen name now. It felt wrong to me, too. I don't care how many times more Leonard tours... missing his last one of this tour just felt, as you've said, plain wrong. 
! Lightning twice and all that... I cannot afford to fly all that way for a delay . !!! THANKS!!! Talk about making someone FEEL GOOD !! AND You WOKE ME UP !!! Here I was getting a little drowsy and getting ready to go to bed. So much for that . At least not in the same frame of mind! Funny how contagious enthusiasm is, eh ? Anyway, I feel so honoured and grateful by such a call [as to come] and such reactions 
[that I am]!!! If only I could be in both places with you, but you know... choices... and when it came to that one, San Jose got it hands down. I'm not much of a Vegas person, but as I said to a friend... Another thing I said about San Jose is "I'm expecting it to be a magnificent concert. The energy will be very high.""[even though I potentially could've paid for my trip via a slot machine]... Vegas is just not my kind of thing. Leonard will be bringing the finest kind of spirituality to its unhallowed ground."
Leonard graciously left space for us to sing in "I'm Your Man" in Tampa... oh, how I hope he will in San Jose. And if he does "Passing Through," how could we NOT sing our hearts out to him on THAT oneI would've liked to have gone to Nashville and New York, but geez-oh-Pete... I do not have even this kind of money, much less that kind of money. I refuse to envision myself homeless and on the street... but if I did end up there, I'd be sure to have a placard around my neck saying "Too Many Leonard Cohen Concerts."
!?! Those of us sentient beings so fortunate as to reside in this segment of time on earth and share his space for even moments during our lifetime. We are the lucky ones. . Of course, I feel it wouldn't be the same without me, too... but from the OPPOSITE perspective ~ ALL the people whom I've met and love being there, and my not being able to share in their joy... and Leonard's very last 2009 concert... where the energy will be so blissfully high... and my not being able to experience it with all of you! It's really humbling to see these reactions. I have to tell you, I'm kinda just blown away by it. You people have actually met me , so it means even more [and there's a history that goes with that comment 
~ me and my social anxiety/phobia do not always fare so well on that measure and you have made my struggle easier... thanks]. Believe me, I am deeply grateful that anyone is glad I'll be there with you . I'm very grateful

... back to the concert ... this one is going to be sublime, scrumptious, and divine. I am SO glad I will not be left with only the words of others to know it. ], which actually means getting up at about 2 AM, so I can rush out the door and get on the road for the 2-hour drive to JAX, so as to be there 2 hrs prior to flight time. because... I need to be at the San Jose airport 2 hours prior to the 6:15 AM flight on Saturday the 14th, to come back home. . . Just point me in the right direction. !! I'm over the moon about that! . I'm glad you're able to go .Haha... better make it quick. I got a plane to catchwhat a time we are gonna have.
