Areana Stozice, Ljubljana

Just wondering if any local forum member can advise how to get to Areana Stozice from downtown.

I will take taxi:) Google maps are helpful but it's on the outskirts of the city so I decided to ignore public transport and will simply say "Driver, take to to Arena Stožice".

I'll come from Austria by car...
Does anybody know the parking situation at (or near) Arena Stožice? Is the underground parking garage already finished?
Any advice in this regard?

as far as I saw from different web sites there is pretty big underground parking so it should be no problem of finding a space:)

regarding local transportation, it is quite frequent (15-20 min), and I am sure it is no big problem of getting there with it...Ljubljana is quite small so you should not get lost:)

if arriving by car it should be easy because it is outside of city center

so it is line 13 but you can use nearby lines as well...every 20min...

but I saw on one web site of hotel nearby stožice that from center taxi should be around cca 4 Eur so I think this is maybe even better..especially when going back from concert:)

Hello,

I would just like to inform everybody that the underground parking in Stožice is not finished yet. The best way to go to Stožice is public transport (bus number 13 or 20), taxi is also very cheap. If you are arriving by car it's best to park at the Faculty of economics (it's nearby and not expensive). Check the map.

All the Croats ready, at least 25 people I know coming with cars or train... will be crowd on night train at 2am for back home!

thanks for info on parking..do you happen to know if parking in front of Faculty of Economics is paid with parking tickets and where those can be bought or we give a parking fee to "parking" person:)tx

I am coming from Croatia so I would prefer parking nearby arena..

At the faculty of Economics you have to pay fee to the person there, but I think that after 22.00 the parking is for free, so you don't have to pay anything if you leave after 10 o'clock in the evening. If you park there you only have to walk about 5 or 10 minutes to get to the arena Stozice.
