Someone gave me a copy (already have it pre ordered so it's a treat to be able to hear it early) but i have no idea where they got it from.

First time i heard it i was not too sure about it (much like with TNS) but after the second run through i fell in love with it (also like TNS )

It is a really great album, i would rank it but i love them all, so can we say equal 1st :P

No promo copies here :(
But it seems there are some illegal sites already having the album.

That is good news for Leonard Cohen.

Although "there's no one who has told us yet What Boogie Street is for" only desirable goods are circulated on the black market.

As for myself, my little self, I'am quiet happy to slowly and fully wait with the ordinary mob :D until the 26 of October. It more interesting to read all the fuss around and before, than to rush to consomate the album. I would all miss the multiple pleasures that came before otherwise.

Well, I'm torn. I love the first and second CD's, the first because of the remarkable arrangements (and I STILL can't find out who the musicians/singers are!) and the great great songs. The second because of it's sparcity. I find myself listening more and more to the early stuff and, most recently, Recent Songs, another marvel of production and instrument choice and great songs.
Then again, I think The Future is fantastic. And I'm Your Man is right up there. But I've not been able to really get into Ten New Songs, mostly because of the arrangements.
