Any chance on hints which suggest the number of musicians involved, the style of production(like should we expect versions close to the ones heard live)?

i used to work at the Montreux Festival and still have friends there, so i will investigate

I believe these rumours are pre-talks, negotiations and pre-offers by the agencies and festivals, as it is known that Leonard Cohen announced his *possible* tour with the same band after he finishes his new studio album. If the album is released until Spring 2012, the logical start of the tour are Summer festivals of 2012. So the first offers are probably on the way to AEG Live (tour agency in UK which is organising Lenard's tour) and this is the first which leaked from the local agencies and offices. Nothing to be excited yet - we know from the beginning that there's a possibility for the tour, and offers will be coming from the usual places (we can imagine most of the arenas and festivals from 20008-10 willing to host a Cohen show again).
