Reading the words

Post by lightasabreeze »

I have played the cd twice over after getting it this morning from Amazon.(I really must get on with some work now) I love it.
But I read all the words in the leaflet, and although I love the musicians and the singers I would love to hear Leonard recite those poems too. I can't think of anyone who can read poetry the way he does.
The version of The Sound of Silence had a new meaning for me altogether after hearing him recite those words.
Maybe I will play the cd just once more before starting work!

Lightasabreeze, I agree, nobody in the world can recite as beautifully as Leonard!! But isn't it just PERFECT the way Leonard recites/chants Anyhow, & he does it with his most intense, up-close & deeepest of voices - I just love that!!

Glad you agree holydove. As he said himself - He was born with the gift of a golden voice - I can't think of a better description.
