I am slightly cynical about the way AEG release the tour dates: small batches at a time. I think no tickets should be on sale until the complete European schedule is confirmed. Thats what most artists promoters do.
I guess they sell more seats doing it this way as they know Leonard has a loyal fan base and many people will attend several shows.

I haven't heard anything from ticketone regarding my tickets. I assume they will be in touch once the date for the concert has been finally sorted. :?: I opted for the will call collection method. As it happens I will be in Verona on 20th April so I'm going to call to the box office and see if I can collect my tickets once there. Will keep you posted. Its a shame that the date has been moved though. It's expensive to get to concerts in the first place not to mind re-booking flights at much higher prices. Not good. :(

Strange indeed. Though they dont owe us anything a humble explanation would be appropriate.

Seems like there probably was going to be two shows in Verona, 24th and 25th, and they tried selling the harder date first. At least I would imagine Tuesday would sell slower than Monday. But since tickets haven't sold quickly enough, they cancelled the second show. That's about the only explanation that makes any sense.

For me this new date is much better, but I am truly sorry for those who already booked their flights. I know I couldn't afford throwing that much money in the well.

***Only one concert in Verona was listed from the very beginning - the venue is so big (15.000) that two concerts would probably be too risky for the local promoter / Jarkko***

I assume the promoters/ticketone will make refunds available to those who are unable to attend the rescheduled show? Poor form if not. Wonder if this is to get a show on the 26th in somewhere?

Just spoke with the italian promoter's call center ( galli dalessandro - http://www.dalessandroegalli.com/ ) : they admit that "maybe the date can change" . They suggest to check the ticketone web site ( http://www.ticketone.it/leonard-cohen-b ... ection=asc ) for more news " within next week" . I have no words to comment. Only **!°#* . ( right now they are selling on for the 25th date ). As soon as I get news I'll keep you informed. But I trust AEG, Jarrko and LC will not permit any bad behaviour ). UPDATE, 5.30 pm local italian time : I was NOT alerted by ticketone. And They do not answer at phone calls, now. Easter. Bleah.

I feel sorry for people who are still buying tickets and making travel arrangements on the basis of a concert on September 25 with no idea that the date might change. Contrary to what some people think, there are many, many genuine fans out there who are not members of this forum and who could still be unaware of the switch to the 24th. Remember the stories of people who travelled to France for the March 2010 concerts only to find deserted venues and concerts postponed to the following September? Ticketone are giving no indication at all that the concert date has changed and in my view are acting totally irresponsibly by continuing to sell tickets for the (apparently) wrong date.

Can ticketone do that legally.. it makes no sense at all to keep the public in the dark... very bad handling all round I think (though I'm still going to the concert!).

I hope you haven't flights booked for the 26th coz you will be arriving a day late for the original concert too.!! The date is 25th and now the new date seems to be 24th. I wouldn't do anything yet until we get final, final, comfirmation from Jarkko. Sit tight.

Strange. if you follow the link on the first page of this thread yes they are still selling, but if you follow this link http://www.ticketone.it/leonard-cohen-b ... uid=461050 from the thread where all the concerts are listed it says non disponibile... just checked again :D
