Post by The Wineskins »

Is there any information for more shows in the US in 2013? Thanks! 8)

Yes, patience is a virtue often rewarded on this forum.

Jarkko, I wonder if you have any advice as to whether Canadians should also wait patiently...

If Leonard does return to the U.S., may I suggest having a look at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. I've never been there, but my husband has, & he says it's a lovely old theatre - first opened in 1926 & been through a couple of incarnations & renovations since then. The last renovation was in 2011, & it was closed for a while, & reopened in Sept. 2012. Here is a link for its history, & the write-up in the website doesn't mention this, but when it reopened in Sept. 2012, as a live music venue once again, Bob Dylan was the first one to play there. Present seating capacity is 1,835. Wouldn't it provide a nice break from the big arenas?

Yes patience IS a virtue, but I waited very patiently this year and only one venue in UK. I am being patient again and wondering are we only getting one again in 2013? How long can I be patient for?

It is always silent before the big bang.

Ooh, I like the sound of that. A very pregnant silence. Thank you, Jarkko - it is so kind of you to drop these smiling clues in our little baskets.

I have to say it - just in case no one knows -

Philadelphia is patiently waiting - and hoping.
Hoping that Leonard will come back to us - next time 'round. :)

So seriously hoping that Leonard will do shows in the U.S.

Checked plane fares, even for the 'shortest' distance of Detroit to London [and then would take cheaper airlines from there] or from here/Detroit to Milan [just to get to Rome... and no matter how it's cut, a minimum of $1300.00 [but more likely $1500.00] USD just to get there! So, Leonard or Hydra or anything else... they just look to be out of the question. Maybe Leonard here; then the Cork Event; and maybe Hydra the year after. Flights have gone astronomical!

Very good training, indeed! Still, I am somewhat amazed at how quickly patience has been rewarded this time around...
