relax Leonard will play, you will be able to boast to your friends and family you are in row 3, you can adjust your avatar, you will be cleansed of all your sins, blah blah blah..

Rodin,I just wanted to reply to your comments above.
This forum is aimed at folks just chatting about their views, hopes, and comments relating to possible tour dates etc, amongst a wealth of other things.
I find your comments offensive, and un necessary.
I.like everyone else,DO have a life--thank you very much. And "grow some balls"--very difficult if you are of the female gender!
If you hate using the phrase which you did--may I please ask you to refrain from doing so again.
Finally.are you the same "Rodin" who once claimed as there favourite Leonard Cohen album "Born to Run"????--while asking someone to send you 2 front row center seats? If so,then I can say no more.

Agree that Rodin's remarks were just nasty , aggressive , and offensive .
We all have complex real lives and lives enriched by leonard's work.

Back to the topic the announcement of new concerts in belgium and holland - just 3 months away- really tops up my levels of hope and expectation for the promised uk tour . :D

Just to change the tone of this thread, does the nice Mr Jarkko have any further hints to drop on a tour to New Zealand and Australia?

Knowing my luck the announcement will come, and will come in the next few days. Just had my bank on to say my card was cloned and some b*stards in the US have been spending lots of my money last night. They're getting it back for me, but I have nothing for around a week. I guess maybe one of the cash machines I used in berlin this week was naughty.

The six months notice is getting shorter. The dates have been nailed but we don't know when they are ready to announce (except a single early concert that most likely will be announced very soon)
Thanks

Not sure how this very old quote is helpful here other than to confuse and provide potentially false hope to anyone that does not realise how old it is. Not even sure how old the quote from Jarkko is (as the topic link provided is not to this quote) but Jarkko announced the London pre sale on 9 December 2012 so the quote is older than that.

Jarkko's quote (above) was posted today - on the 'Hope for Europe' thread.
So it is right up to date!
London 2008, Brighton 2008, Liverpool 2009, Ghent 2010, Stuttgart 2010.
Ghent x 2 - 2012, London 2013, Brighton 2013....

Thanks for clarification. I presumed that the reference to a single concert that will be announced very soon was to the O2 gig on 21 June that was announced last December and so I therefore assumed that the quote was old. This is also a problem with multiple threads on the same topic in this case "hope for Europe" and "British Tour"

The good news is that we can expect at least one more uk gig but the bad news is that my guess it will be an open air festival or London Hyde park or Olympic park gig in the gap between 2nd and 15th August which certainly is of no interest to me.

I started the thread on the British Tour and remain optimistic for several uk dates in September.

The small print in Jarkko's post was intriguing. I thought the "small island" might be the Isle of Wight, or even the Isle of Mann or Isle of Dogs  No idea of venues!
I'm confident there will be several proper UK venues announced eventually, but anything open air in Britain is of no interest to me whatsoever .
However, patience is wearing thin and other plans for the summer can't stay on hold much longer.

I haven't said anything about a "small" island - unless the word "islander" means people living on a small island
