Apologize if this was posted in the past, but I just noticed this on youtube and thought it compelling.
It is about a 1-hour film shot in New Orleans in 2006 as the city was recovering from Katrina, and it includes great footage of Fats, then 78 years old, playing at a club called Tipitina's after having been not performed for many years. (Does this scenario seem familiar?) The entire film is good, but you can jump ahead to the Tipitina's show if you want.

Yeah, he lost his house, piano, everything in the storm. Recently in a second-hand store, I bought his greatest hits album, pristine condition, on vinyl, for a dollar !
