I'm looking forward to attending this year's Philadelphia Folk Festival. The previously given link accesses the

I was surprised to find the name of one of the headliner perormers on the schedule. You can guess who that
person is, if you like.

Hi,

Another Philadelphia Folk Festival has come and gone. There were a number of preeminent musicians on the numerous
stages. The music spanned a wide range of genres (traditional folk music, reggae, jazz, gospel, rock, blues, etc.).
As in previous years, the crowd was friendly and the volunteers were terrific. Got to catch up with many friends there,
as did lots of others.

Was pleased to see John Flynn on a couple of different stages. At the Camp Stage, John Flynn's two sons and his
daughter also performed. John's daughter, Sarah Flynn, has released her debut full-length CD titled Verging on Truth.

Always good to see Gene Shay on the Main Stage emceeing. This was Gene's 52nd consecutive year as emcee.

John Flynn's new CD Poor Man's Diamond's will be released shortly. Heard a few songs that will be on the
CD a few weeks ago when John revisited Gene Shay's radio show. There's a free download currently available
