New Album announced: 'You Want It Darker'

I will echo Roman's thanks to you Bennyboy!

I see in the liner notes there is no mention of an actual violin or Alex but Neil is there with his Hammond B3.
I did think earlier that two titles seemed familiar and didn’t investigate it further. Realising now they are the same titles as poems in BOL (which btw, has been within my arm’s length by the computer for a month now while compiling my book ) Travelling Light and It Seemed The Better Way.

Not long to go now!

Almost nothing new in comparison to the Peaky Blinders fragment.

Roman, the ARTE channel recorded the whole Paul Kalkbrenner performance @ Lollapalooza Berlin and it is uploaded on Youtube. Kalkbrenner started his performance with the remix of "You want it darker", and you can watch it in HD, the remix runs from 01:05 till 06:05 :

When I first read about Kalkbrenner doing a remix of "You want it darker", I thought: Oh no!
But when I actually heard the first snippets and now the remix in full I must say that I absolutely love it, especially when the choir sets in and sings the "Hineni" part together with Leonard.
I can't wait for the official release of the remix. Then I will buy it on I-Tunes, burn it on a CD, put it in my stereo equipment and turn up the volume, REALLY REALLY loud....

Thanks Benny! As if the anticipation couldn't grow any more, there is this sparkling review. And it's great to hear that Adam Cohen had "New Skin" in mind with the production on this one. That's my favorite LC album too.

Yes there will be vinyl but it may not be released simultaneously with the CD. It may come a week or two later. They're still working on finalising the official release date for it.
