Whoever told you that a lack of ego is a preferred state? What Geoffrey took as an insult was in fact a compliment and I won’t tell him who said that his ego had increased until he is not too stupid to see that. I was encouraged that he was interested in proving that he was capable of changing trains on his own.

Oh and I can detect sarcasm as good as anybody but I chose not to.

I suppose it depends on how one defines "ego" as to how preferable it is, but since everyone seems to have their own definition of what "ego" entails, general consensus on the subject is unlikely. Also, I never said that a lack of ego "is a preferred state".

I have decided that I do not want to know you, nor do I particularly wish to engage in further forum chat with you. You said in another thread that you don't care if people don't like you -- just as well, because you don't strike me as being particularly likeable. I have better things to do than respond to obnoxious provocation by strangers in online forums, and therefore I shall bid you adieu.
