Cohen singing Buckley's version of Hallelujah?

Post by Asketa »

Hello everyone!

For the past month I have frantically been searching for a specific recording of Hallelujah. When I was a kid, I heard Leonard Cohen singing a version of Hallelujah with Buckley's lyrics, i.e.

Verse 1: I heard there was a secret chord...
Verse 2: bathing on the roof...
Verse 3: I've been here before I've seen this room and I've walked this floor...
Verse 4: remember when I moved in you? And the holy dove was moving too...
Verse 5: Well maybe there's a god above...

I cannot remember if it was a live or studio recording, but if I remember correctly, it was very good audio (perhaps studio?), and there weren't so many interruptions (like "Oh yeah", naming cities, audience clapping, etc.).

I remember the order of verses because it was the only version on my parent's computer that we played in the house, so I recognized them immediately when I heard Buckley's version.

Can you please help me? I feel like I'm going insane as I can't find it...
