These candlelight concerts seem to be quite popular -- there are always a bunch of them in my city, but we don't have stunning venues like Montreal. Most of the concerts feature tributes to pop and rock singers and groups, playing arrangements of their songs by a string quartet: currently Queen, ABBA, Taylor Swift, heavy metal, Coldplay, Adele, etc., are on the schedule, and one or two of actual classical music (more or less -- excerpts thereof, anyway), but no sign of Leonard Cohen's music out this way.
The candles are LED (for safety reasons!). I have never been to one, but if they do Leonard's music, I might be curious enough to go.
I have visited 2 of these candlelight concerts. Do not expect to much of it.
It's a few violins and a cello playing a kind of greatest hits in semi dark lit with led candles
