I’m sorry to have to write I won’t be able to come to Copenhagen for the Event because I have a hernia right now and I’m awaiting my surgery…
Nele and I have booked accommodation in Copenhagen which is non-refundable and so we can’t cancel it and get our money back. So in case someone is still looking for last-minute accommodation for the Event, they can always use our appartement, perhaps at 1/2 of the price or we can come to an agreement about the price.

Check in Thursday Aug 1 from 3pm
Check out Monday Aug 5 at 11am
Original price was around 5000 DKK (approx 675 EUR).
So in case you know someone who is still looking for a place to stay during the Event, feel free to give them these details and my mail address so they can get in touch.
I will be waiting to hear all the lovely stories from all of you and wish we could be there to join you all in celebrating our man, but my back decided otherwise, alas…

Sorry to hear this Maarten. Will miss you both. I hope you get a surgery date soon so you can get on the road to recovery (maybe you don’t have to wait as long in Belgium as we do? I hope not anyway.)
