So sad to hear Else has passed away. I was blessed to have her as a long distance friend and I send her loved ones my deepest condolences. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. RIP sweet Else.

Back in 2010, when I visited Norway for the first time, Else comment on a facebook of mine how a nice stranger in Bergen looked a lot like Karl Ove Knausgaard. That was the beginning of a sweet friendship with søt og kjære Else.

I am so sorry that Else is gone. I wasn't a close friend, but we had many friendly interactions over the years. She was just the nicest person – so decent and kind and good-humored. Everybody loved her.

Yes, it is so sad. She was a wonderful, kind person. We had hoped to meet when Anne & I visited Norway last year, but her cancer prevented it. Deep condolences to her husband, Kai and their family and friends.
