I'm your fan - various artists cover

Post by doof1 »

Hi,

I got the CD "I'm your fan" from various artists from a friend of mine. Of course this is just a burned CD ROM. I am wondering if anyone of you would be so kind to send me the back and front cover. Unfortunately they are not available for download.

Thank you in advance

Wondering if anyone can tell me who did the Photo (the Original) that appears on the front cover of this album? I am sure I have seen it more than once in a different context!

I LOVE I'm your fan. The only dud, to my mind, is Nick Cave's version of Tower of Song. I have all Nick's stuff & have seen him in most versions of the Boys Next Door, The Bad Seeds, Birthday Party & even his 1st venture after the B'Party, Man or Myth, when he opened with Avalanche at a little club in Sydney.
I can only hope that he was so overawed that he got drunk & blew it.
Some great arrangements on the album. John Cale's reading of Hallelujah is almost definitive now. Kids love it because of the connection with Shrek. that's a bit scarey, but at least a starting point toward great music.
Another similarly BRILLIANT compliation is If I Were A Carpenter an amusing & perspective changing set of Carpenter covers, (& in some instance of cover the carpenters did I suppose).

If you didn't get a copy of the CD slicks let me know & I'll forward them.
Cheers
