Tri-me,

Thank you so very, very much for your kind gift of words. And of love and good karma and a big chunk of bling. Intertwining names? What an appropriate idea! That really requires more careful though. No hasty moves here.

Tri-me has agreed to be a bridesmaid and help me find a wonderful dress, would you like to join us? She'll gladly buy you lunch. Perhaps Laurie can come along to offer her thoughts on the ceremonial exchange of loving words. She'll likely buy us some champagne.

Oh my happy day I will be your maid. One request, I would like a dress like this, it will cover up my problem areas. I will start sending out incitations to your shower. Where will you register Sears, Eatons, The Bay?

That dress is going to cover your problem areas??? Are you troubled, Tri-me? Have you many problems in your life? Well, as you've so graciously accepted, I guess. We can even have blinking lights installed to further divert attention from your little problem.

Lizzy, I sense a turning of the tides. Do you like my new sneaks? I'll let you know later, about lunch (at your house, preferably in the basement behind a bunch of boxes).

Oh, yes....at my house, you'll be treated to those dark and dank sandwiches with the cardboard texture that always seem appropriate for such occasions.

However, the lunch I had envisioned was at that little shop that, ironically, just happens to be situated right next to Tiffany's. Imagine. But, I guess, it really is more important to have a meal befitting the occasion. Tri-me will certainly get off light. Since my house only has a crawl space, please come dressed for the occasion.

May I bring a sleeping bag and toothbrush? As for the meal, yes, I can taste the ashes already. I've heard it said, that one can develop a taste for almost anything. When starving. I had imagined lunch at the Russian Tea Room. I hang on to that hope with every fibre of my being.

Perth, honey-sounds like you are capable of writing your own vows.

I will however be 'suggesting' to my friend Linda that she put something in hers aboot you "giving up the drink" for her.

An easy to swallow request, I'm sure...considering the peace and happiness she brings you with her electronic self. Ah! Romance! Who said it was dead??!?

*blows on her feathery pen and sighs*

p.s. Now that I don't need to write the vows, I can get busy ordering the His & Hers monogrammed, Egyptian cotton towels.
