Is anyone thinking of going to this concert? I'm about 4 hrs. away and need to do "something" to keep from going crazy since my husband and I separated, don't know if it will be permanent, as of yesterday. I need to pick myself up, stop crying, and see a nice gig like this to get me out of this slump. Hearing LC's music has always helped through times like this and this concert couldn't be timed better! Anyone in or around LA going?

I'm so sorry to hear that, Dar :( . I hope someone [Scott? Jason? Gypsey's Wife?] will decide to go with you. If not, I hope you'll drive that four hours alone, and listen to Leonard enroute. Attending could only be good for you, being in the state of mind you're in  . I hope you two can work things out :? Are your daughter or son anywhere near?

that sounds real interesting. i'm only like a half hour away from l.a. (with no traffic), but i'm kind of busy tomorrow. i don't know anyone who'd go with me anyway. seeing as i don't drive i'd have to go with someone else.

i called the box office a little while ago and they said that it's a benefit, but not for leonard, but rather for the theater itself, which i think is in some sort of public recreation area. can anyone else confirm/deny this? (don't let this stop anyone from going since it will still be a night of wonderful music)

Actually, I didn't interpret it as a benefit for Leonard.
