Gene Pitney
Sad to hear Gene Pitney passed away in a Cardiff hotel last night in the middle of his British tour. He was only 64. I was brought up with his music as my Mother was a huge fan.

I grew up through my teenage years with Gene Pitney's voice being ever present on the radio and TV. A unique voice and a powerful voice. A voice full of music and not one electronically enhanced like so many of today's 'singers.' I am pleased to have heard his voice in my lifetime. RIP.
