My farther was a Jazz fan, and loved Sonny Rollins. I loved (and love) Leonard Cohen, so when we saw this clip 12 years ago it was like the two of us sharing a strange brotherhood. He realised why I listened to Cohen, I realised why he listened to Rollins. We went to the local store and bought wine, then sat in the garden until early morning, no one needed to say a word.
