I understand that an evil woman stole Cohen's money. I read that he's broke, but I don't understand -
doesn't he get royalties for his songs? it must sum up to a lot of money.
And one more thing - according to the article, the court has ordered the evil woman to pay Cohen, but she refuses. Isn't there a law? (or at least an arm/hand)

The money that was embezzled was the proceeds of LC's sale of his copyrights and future royalties to Sony.
It is all very well getting a ruling from a Court, but that isn't much help if the money no longer exists. Or, if some of it does exist still, first you have to find it...
