Someone told me last night at the theatre that The PBS Special on Leonard Cohen aired on Monday. I missed it. Did any of you see it? How come we were not reminded?

Yes, I heard it, it was so wonderful, I think it was like an hour long, there were many of Leonard's songs and the interview with him, I never ever heard him being so relaxed, so very sweet and nice and wise and humorous and charming, just to listen to his was a pure joy!!! Friend of mine promised to get a transcript, or a CD from the radio station, she works there as a volunteer. It was recorded in May, 2006. I heard it on PBS radio from Sacramento. Just I keep thinking about it all the time. Leonard is beyond every expectation, if he happens to be in a good mood, I suppose.

Oh, Lizzy, I am embarrassed to feel this way about the interview, perhaps you have heard all of them, but was indeed a pure joy to listen to everything he said there.
I got also a great gift on New Years- again- perhaps you have already read that- Intricate Preparations Writing Leonard Cohen. -friend of mine bought it for me in Canada. there also is included a very interesting article by Jarkko. Many photos- good book.

I seriously doubt I've heard all of them and I don't need to know the exact interview you're speaking of, to know the essence and the dynamic you're referring to... and they are all part of the whole that makes me feel as I do. Whether I've seen or heard a particular one or not doesn't matter; I know they're out there, as well as how I'll feel, if and when I do. Not to say that some aren't even greater than others, as I've experienced that, too. Have you ever seen any, Bee?
