Hello. Would this be Anne whom myself and my Scottish friend Jonn met
on Hydra on Monday 11th June? Anne from Toronto? Remember Jonn said
he worked in Toronto years ago,and once bought a 'brown corduroy jump-
suit from 'Honest Des'.
If so,we told you we'd see the Great Man in the flesh again before you would,
and t'was the case...at his gallery show, last Sunday!
Never mind,your turn next perhaps?
Hope you're well,
Tony(Whizzer),from Manchester,England.

Hi Lizzy! Good to hear from you. Disappointed though that the pic. of
you and I never appeared in the photo gallery of Hydra 2007.Maybe 'cos
I was an outsider...!?
Jonn recovered, with the help of the medicines, and made it to the Town
on the Monday where he met Henning, Anne, Laura & others.
We also went down to Bill's Bar," I can make it that far.." he said !!
All the best from rainy Manchester.

Well, maybe, just maybe, it still will, Tony. I hope so. It was great to meet you :D . Super to see you here 8) ~ welcome :D !!

Glad to hear you and Jonn made it to Bill's Bar  . Those meds work miracles don't they? Did you apologize to him for me for his getting disconnected? Not that it matter, the surrounding sounds were enough with the poor connection that I don't know that I understood a single word he said. On his end, he probably heard me shouting, in trying to understand him  .

I wish I'd been around to have a drink with you at Bill's Bar  , but it was already very late on Sunday night, I was quickly leaving to go back for the night for a 7 AM departure on Monday, and you were preoccupied, as well, by Jonn's situation. Another time :) .

Just seen your 'update' and the Picture ! Many thanks again, and to others
who assisted.
God,i look tired! But we had travelled overnight from Crete, and efforts to
get Jonn's medication had taken it's toll. That's my excuse anyway !!
You however look radiant!
Re: Bill's Bar,we met the new owner Alexandros. You probably know of the
history, but he bought the bar from 'Bill' who was William Cunliffe,a Brit.
I sneakingly pilfered a menu which has a sketch/watercolour of the original
Bar on the reverse. It is now named AMalOUR,a trendy, expensive cocktail-bar.
Pity. The menu is now framed and on my wall at home!
We later met an Aussie, who's Father knows L.C.and keeps in touch, and still
lives on Hydra. So more contacts for a longer return visit....
All the very best, and thanks again.

You're welcome, Tony :D . My pleasure and their pleasure. Delays were just an integral part of the deal.

I can attest that you were stressed and being tired only adds to that. Still, I remember you as being the male version of radiant, as well. I can further attest that I was very stressed and tired, too... two days with no voice makes attempting to communicate an exhausting and stressful exercise in futility. It was very late for both of us. So, thanks for your compliment :) . As you recall, I saw you going back and forth on the walkway several times [more efforts to get Jonn's medication] before you joined our group. In person, you were delightful, wonderfully forthcoming, and communicative.

That menu is beautiful 8) . I asked the waitress if they were available for keeping or purchase, and she told me to take it... adding that she didn't see me. When she said that, I returned to the original question, and she twice more repeated with a sweet smile and voice for me to just take it. So, I finally did. Mine will be framed, as well.

Between your meeting Alexandros and the Aussie whose father still lives on Hydra, your brief visit on the magical island was well spent.

It's great to see you in our group on the Hydra page 8) .
