It doesn't look like Leonard to me, Peter. At that age, he seemed to have his more recognizable, defining features.

Re: Is this the young cohen
I can definately see the resemblance to the pictures of a young Leonard. While it's closer to Leonard than the photo was in the recent poetry contest, I hesitate to suggest it be the basis for a second event based on the prior outcomes.

Yes, I can see the resemblance, too... the mouth, the teeth, and the eyes.

The impostor's nose is straighter. Cohen's is more aquiline.
The impostor has a dimpled chin. Cohen's is rounder.
Cohen's ears are very distinctive. They stick out pretty far.
And from this perspective you should be able to see
a pronounced antitragus. Which you don't see on the impostor.
(In this particular photo of Cohen, it's hard to say
what the deal is with his ear. The green insert
is more representative.)
Above all, sneering obviously comes natural to this impostor.
Whereas Cohen is not a frequent sneerer.
And this impostor has filed teeth.
He is obviously just a male-model.
Whereas Cohen is an idol.
