To James2001,
My PDF was correct. I had a question about my booking and sent an e-mail through the Contact Us option on the Place des Arts website. I got a reply very fast and the person even phoned me to clarify my situation.

Try googling the venue, and order thru them, with the password. It works.

I got my ticket this morning. I can't believe I will have the chance to see him in concert.
(I also can't believe I had to take a cab from work to home then back to work again because I didn't have my visa card on me and didn't want to miss the opportunity to have a good seat!!)
Just w-o-w.

"Whisper"
Can you take me through the google procedure; I went to Place Des Arts and got their web site and then searched on Leonard Cohen and was able to get the event listings but was unable to log in to get pre sale tickets.

If you are having trouble getting through on the Montreal site, make sure you are using the links from The Files. There are three different links, one for each date. The Files page with the link is:

Possibly sold out. Try a single ticket... worked for me (although I did not actually buy it)

Thank you Leonard, Jarkko, and all others involved. I did finally get tickets once I used caps. I was able to get 1 ticket for each of the 3 shows and didn't have to deal with the scalpers.

Now comes the fun part, booking hotels, getting driving directions, etc. I'll be driving from near Philadelphia so according to mapquest it looks like I'm in for a 8+ hour journey. I should note for the other USA members without a passport, according to the passport office you only need a passport if you are flying into the country. If you are driving you need a goverment issued photo id and a proof of citizenship (driver's license and birth cirt.). After June 2009 you will need the passport to drive into Canada but until then the above mentioned items will work. If you don't have a passport and want to go to the Toronto shows and don't live close enough to drive you can fly into Buffolo NY and rent a car and drive about an hour and you'll make Toronto. should Anyone have any sugestions on good places to stay in Montreal at reasonible prices?? See you all in Montreal in June!!
PS: muffinman in the UK, when I call the UK from here in the US I have to enter your country code in front of the number (for England it's 011-44 plus the phone number). Did you try entering your number that way??? Hopefully this may work.

I thought I made my booking, but turned out I didn't. Strange, though, as I got the confirmation page, just not the PDF email.
In any event, I now have tickets. Just row J instead of the row E I thought I had.
Oh well. My own dumb fault.
I have tickets, though! Now, to find a place to crash. I think the hotel budget has been blown...
Thanks, Jarkko! Thanks, Leonard!

Keep trying. Sometimes 2 tickets is a problem but single tickets seems to work OK.

James2001 wrote:Folks, I followed the instructions and after some attempts secured two tickets for the 23rd (Thanks Jarkko) PAR B 33 and 35. HOWEVER, the email with the PDF came through with a crazy low price listed as the total charge. Did anyone else get this? Do they invoice the admin fee then the ticket cost? any feedback would be appreciated. I did call them, but they were very busy and hassled by all the Cohenites out there

I'm hoping I do not have a problem with my reservation. Waiting for the mail man will be nail biting in the next 8 days!
Mollydog and others who replied to the above. The theatre called me back and were very surprised to see that their system has charged me just $15 for two good seats! Before you all get jealous, they are going to correct it sky high for me. Oh well, at least I have them. So I get to go to Canada for the first time ever and see Leonard for the first time since the '93 and '85 (I'm guessing) tours in the UK. See y'all there. James
