I know it's a very long shot, but I guess I will give it a try: my parents are huge fans of Cohen, and I would like to offer them a pair of tickets for one of the Montreal shows (with a slight preference for June 25th) as a wedding anniversary gift. Based on how fast those shows sold out, I can clearly see that demand exceeds supply, but if anyone was to have a pair of extra tickets and contact me, I would be more than eternally grateful... email:

desparately looking...
for toronto tickets, sunday, 6/8
or montreal tickets (any dates)
do you have any advice to which would be the better concert? i am on the fence about which one to pursue (although i don't have the luxury to choose yet, as i don't have a line on available tickets, either).
this will be quite a plan for me, as i am coming from california. and the 6/8 date is the weekend right after school ends for me. and the montreal dates mean i can't work summer school. so i need some advice from a tourist standpoint, too--which is the better city to visit: toronto or montreal (during the jazz fest)???
if i can't get tickets here, i am considering ebay. would you trust those peoples?
thank you for your advice. i've never bought tickets at such a high-price. but this is leonard. and i've been in love with him since college and LC is one of the special things my husband and i share together.

Should someone have a spare ticket(s) my wife would love to attend. Please let me know. The dates that would work for her include:
12, 13, 15, 16, May - Halifax
23-May - Moncton

Montreal is really exciting in the summer in general, and during the jazz fest in particular: a part of the city is blocked off for the festival, with tons of free concerts and the rest. So I would say go for Montreal if you can, though i might be slightly biased...

Hi all
I've got 2 extra tickets, for the Edinburgh gig as both me and my girlfriend bought tickets. They are for the East stand (the one facing the stage). Anyone interested can have them for £113 which is what I paid for them. Send me an email (
iraklisp@gmail.com) if interested.
Cheers
Iraklis
p.s. It looks like this tour is turning into one of the most sought after events worldwide this summer, judging by the demand so far. There might be some hope for this world just yet..!

Yes, it makes a change from waiting lists for handbags or scrums in department stores for rubbishy clothes, doesn't it? It is reassuring that some (a lot) of us want to delight in someone's art rather than a
thing.
