You must know something of how much this last year and a half of touring has meant to so many here on this forum and beyond. May whatever balance you find in the future between boundless creative energy and quiet reinvigorating rest bring new connections and new visions. Thank-you, in the circumstances, seems like rather an understatement!

Happy Birthday, dear Leonard
I have been listening to your music since 1967. That beautiful music, really saved my
Life. Without that I believe I had never made the school. The music and the combined text
made be go through school. And ongoing, every time things have been not so good, the music make me feel so much better.
I have then continued to listen. I never had the opportunity to see you live earlier. But last year and this year. Wow. Several concert. I am soo happy that I got that opportunity.
So thank you, for taking up touring again.
And please, if you do not feel well, please wait with the concert.

The other day I was walking on the Boardwalk and listening to my IPOD when Suzanne came on.

Even though in my body I am 55 and its 2009, in my head I was 16 and it was 1970. I was in a room with a boy, candle melting... lights dim...outside world far away. The song played over and over and over. We shared a moment in time and that moment has always been with me. It changed my life, and I probably can't even say why.

We are so lucky to live in a time like this.

We can be any place and have the music of our lives in our heads; in our hands. On a beach, in the Grand Canyon, on the subway.... we can be transported to special times in our lives by the touch of a button.

Thank you, Leonard, for creating so much magic, so many memories. One of the constants in my life has been your music: the haunting melodies. the words which just reach into me and grab my heart.

I am so lucky to live in a world that includes you.
