Better to be safe than sorry. Even if it did cost you!

As others have said, now it's time to look for a hotel. Any ideas? Maybe we can all crash at Leonard's place :)

Hi, everyone, I'm writing from Spain. What a strange place Benicassim's Festival for Leonard's return... Any idea if there will be another date in Spain, Jarkko? I just don't think I'll be able to go to Benicassim by then but I'll do my best if there's no other date in Spain... I hope Leonard's love for our country makes him come to more cities! I've been waiting for this for a long time...

Greetings from Madrid.

2 out of 3 isn't bad!

I was only able to secure tickets to the shows on the 23rd and 24th of June in Montreal. The site said that there were not any left for the 25th...

I have this crazy notion of trying to see most of the Canadian stops on this tour. I've waited 15 years for the chance to finally see Leonard live and I'm not going to miss it for anything!

Finances be damned, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

I was able to nab an excellent seat for the June 24th show! Not only does he kick off the Montréal Jazz Festival, but this date also happens to be Québec's "national" holiday - La Fête de la St-Jean, so Montréal will be crazy that night!

http://www.cbc.ca/cp/entertainment/080311/e031122A.html

MONTREAL - Music legend Leonard Cohen will bring his trademark smoky voice to the Montreal stage this June with his first performance in his hometown in 15 years.

Cohen, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday, will give three shows at the Montreal International Jazz Festival on June 23-24-25 at Place des arts.

His performances will be a prelude to the festival, which runs June 26 to July 6.

Cohen has an album coming out this year and will perform new work at the festival as part of his tour - the singer's first such endeavour since he released "The Future" in 1973.

Renowned for his poetry and novels since the 1950s, Cohen has produced classics such as "So Long, Marianne" and "Everybody Knows."

In announcing the appearance by the 73-year-old poet, novelist, singer and songwriter, the Jazz Festival described him as "one of the most important and influential songwriters of our time."

Thanks JARKKO ; ) for all of your efforts!!!

Which is in english Saint John the Baptist Day. So when you hear Leonard singing "when they said repent, I wonder what they meant" it was John who was one of the ones saying repent.

Just had a look, and my ticket for June 17th, 1993 was $28.00.

Bit of a difference, not all of which is accounted for by inflation.

Oh well. It costs what it costs.

Looks like every presale ticket in Montreal are gone.
Place des arts now is recycling tickets requests to the first general public sale day march 13.
There should still be plenty of tickets left since no tickets were offered in the mezzanine or balcon section

Like I said above : Go back on Place des Arts site on march 13 and buy your ticket then.
Do not use the password since it is now useless.Go directly to Place des Arts site.
